Fall Colors

We continue to be lacking precipitation in the Northeast, so we were expecting a pretty lackluster foliage season. It's still gorgeous, but I don't think the reds are as bright as they usually are and the leaves seem to be shedding off the trees faster than usual (maybe it's in my head?!) On Saturday, we met up with family in Waterville Valley for a morning hike and then about 20 miles of exploring the endless biking trails! I am in love with Waterville Valley and it's a newly discovered love.

We have been neglecting all that New Hampshire has to offer for the last few years, focusing a lot of attention on Vermont. Even so, we are getting the best of both worlds. We spent Sunday in Cabot picking apples then taking the canoe out on a nearby pond in Groton State Park. It was probably our last canoe ride for the season, meaning Ella is one sad puppy!

Winter will be here before we know it.
