Free Range: Cheever Falls, Walden VT

We are back from a long holiday weekend full of horseshoes, beers, campfires, good food, and waterfalls.
After a breakfast of eggs from our ladies, local sausage links, and potatoes on the first day, we played a few rounds of horseshoes before trekking out to the falls.

Cheever Falls in Walden, VT is a series of water falls that make for great swimming holes on hot summer days.

It is a short hike from the main road to the falls (about 15 minutes for anyone in moderate physical health...we did it in flip flops after having a beer..or 2).

After cooling off in the falls, we headed back to camp for more good food and a bonfire. The dogs had a blast too.

How was your holiday weekend?
